About
Presence and storytelling has always been at the heart of my work—on stage, on screen, and now, in the coaching space.
Leadership is about more than making good decisions. It's about how those decisions are communicated. It's about whether people trust your judgment, believe in your vision, and remember your message when the conversation is over.
That's why I do the work I do.
I'm Graham Powell, a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) specializing in executive presence and strategic storytelling. I help leaders transform how they're experienced in critical moments—so they can lead with greater presence, influence, and impact.
What makes my approach different is the path that brought me here.
Before becoming a coach, I spent more than two decades as a professional actor, writer, director, and producer. Throughout my career, I studied the craft of communication from every angle—how stories capture attention, how presence shapes perception, and how authentic human connection inspires people to think differently, feel differently, and take action. More than 20 years as a professional actor taught me how presence shapes perception. As a writer and filmmaker, I learned how stories build trust, simplify complexity, and inspire action. Now, as a Certified Professional Coach, I help leaders apply these principles to real-world leadership challenges.
Today, I combine that experience with professional coach training to help executives become more intentional about how they communicate, influence, and lead. Whether you're presenting to a board, navigating a difficult conversation, leading organizational change, or inspiring a team around a shared vision, success depends on more than expertise. It depends on how others experience you in the moments that matter most.
My coaching is practical, personalized, and grounded in proven coaching methodologies. Every engagement is tailored to your goals and informed by evidence-based coaching practices, executive presence principles, emotional intelligence, and strategic storytelling. Together, we'll strengthen not only what you communicate, but how your message is received.
I believe storytelling is one of the most underutilized leadership skills. The ability to transform complex ideas into compelling narratives, create emotional connection, and move people to action isn't reserved for keynote speakers or filmmakers—it's an essential capability for today's leaders. My background in screenwriting and performance allows me to help clients develop this skill in a way that's authentic, practical, and immediately applicable to the workplace.
Executive presence coaching isn't about becoming someone you're not.
It's about aligning how you're experienced with the leader you already are.
When you intentionally shape how you're experienced, you don't just communicate more effectively—you build trust more quickly, influence more naturally, and lead with greater impact.
I'd be honored to help you do the same.
